Founded in 1926, in Geneva, Switzerland, by Hans Wilsdorf, Tudor is a very close sister to the most well known watch brand in the world, Rolex. Hans Wilsdorf, also the founder of Rolex, created the brand just seven years after Rolex had moved to Switzerland. The intent was to create a more affordable watch while still maintaining that Rolex quality. For a long time, Tudor used off-the-shelf movements with cases and bracelets produced by Rolex. Today, Tudor is still a close sister company to Rolex, providing exceptional watches with great heritage at a more affordable price.
