The Montblanc two-digit model number pens were replaced in 1971 with the Classic line-up. The pens reverted back to a three-digit numbering system. The pens were offered in Matt Gold, Matt Silver, Matt Black, Polished Black, Grey, Red (Burgundy), Green and Stainless Steel. The pens were offered in just one size.
