German for "Masterpiece," the Meisterstück No. 144 Classique and it's white "snow-cap" logo is a worldwide symbol of luxury and quality. Slightly smaller than its big brother, the 146, the Meisterstück No. 144 Classique features a thin cigar-shaped body and #4 sized nib. The perfect size for those with smaller hands, or those that want a slimmer pen, the Montblanc No. 144 Classique truly is a "Masterpiece" of German design.

This pen features a 14k two-tone Medium gold nib with early plastic feed. The two-tone nib was launch in spring 1990 and was priced 13.5% higher than the mono-tone 14k nib. Brass section threads that accepts a threaded converter (not included). Germany and serial number on clip band. These are all later features, but with an early plastic feed. This likely places the pen in the early part of the below date range (early 1990s).
