A vintage Yotubishi made Japanese Eyedropper Fountain Pen with a Parley 14K Gold Extra-Fine Nib. The nib is stamped with the JIS registration number 3231, which was registered to the company Ishikawa-Kinpen Seisakushô which belonged to the Japanese nibmeister Kato Kiyoshi. The 14K gold "Parley" nib offers a wonderful and unique writing experience. This pen is crafted out of solid hard-rubber, or ebonite, then coated with urushi lacquer. The urushi work on this pen is referred to as Ishime-nuri and is meant to imitate stone. The pen features three inset "tablets" with various Japanese Kanji engravings.
This pen has had the worn out, original cork shutoff valve seal replaced with o-rings. Providing a great alternative to prevent leaks near the back of the pen. 90 day warranty on service work.
