German for "Masterpiece," the Meisterstück No. 144 Classique and it's white "snow-cap" logo is a worldwide symbol of luxury and quality. Slightly smaller than its big brother, the 146, the Meisterstück No. 144 Classique features a thin cigar-shaped body and #4 sized nib. The perfect size for those with smaller hands, or those that want a slimmer pen, the Montblanc No. 144 Classique truly is a "Masterpiece" of German design.

The Montblanc 144 Classique can be dated by looking at a couple of key characteristics. The nib, the grip section, and feed. This particular pen is a Third Generation model produced sometime between 1988 and 1990. 

The cap on this pen does not fully seat as it should, though the pen is still functional.
