The Parker 75 was introduced by the Parker Pen Company in 1963. Known for its elegant design and precision craftsmanship, it became a favorite among collectors and professionals alike. It's most notable feature is its rotatable nib, which allowed the user to fine-tune their own ideal grip. 

The 75 came in a wide range of colors and finishes. This particular pen is the "Grain D'orge" Barleycorn pattern. It features a 20-micron-thick gold plating overtop the brass barrel and cap. A 20 micron stamp can be seen on the cap ring. This pen has a US made 14K gold extra-fine nib. It is unknown whether the nib has been replaced or it is a transitional pen from early on French Parker production. The Grain D'ogre pattern is part of the Place Vendome series released in 1983.
