German for "Masterpiece," the Meisterstück Solitaire No. 164SP and it's white "snow-cap" logo is a worldwide symbol of luxury and quality. The Montblanc Solitaire line features top of the line finishes on Montblanc's most popular pens. The Solitaire is made of solid Steling Silver with a diamond cut pinstripe pattern. 

W Germany mark and serial number on the cap band dates this to 1991. The year 1991 is believed to be the only year in which these two marks overlapped. Wonderful piece of writing history with a unique connection to the cold war. Unkown life left on ink cartridge. The MSRP for this pen was $400 in 1991.
