The Extra has been a part of Omas since the late 1930's. The Italian word Extra draws its meaning from the adjective Extraordinary. Indicating quality and craftsmanship outside of what is ordinary. These pens are most commonly seen in the Faceted and the Ogiva models. The faceted model featuring 12 sides, and the Ogiva being more your "standard" torpedo shaped pen. The Extra series of pens was separated into three different sizes, from smallest to largest, the 555, the 556, and the 557. This particular pen is the 555/F.
