A vintage Seisakusho Japanese Eyedropper Fountain Pen with a Parley 14K Gold Flex Nib. The nib is stamped with the JIS registration number 3231, which was registered to the company Ishikawa-Kinpen Seisakushô which was rumored to belong to the Japanese nibmeister Kato Kiyoshi. The 14K gold "Parley" nib offers a wonderful flex-nib writing experience. This pen is crafted out of solid hard-rubber, or ebonite, then coated with urushi lacquer.
This is a rare "Jumbo" eyedropper. These pens were usually only made for those who custom ordered them, and were often for people who suffered from arthritis. At nearly 20mm, the large grip size allowed the user to hold the pen with less discomfort.
This pen has had the worn out, original cork shutoff valve seal replaced with o-rings. Providing a great alternative to prevent leaks near the back of the pen. 90 day warranty on service work.
