Pilot celebrated its 65th anniversary in 1983 with the release of this pen, the Pilot Custom 65. This pen was limited to 6500 pieces. 6460 were black, 20 were red, and 20 were blue. The pen is engraved on the cap band with its Limited Edition number, 4072. The pen features resin construction with gold finishing and a lovely barleycorn pattern. It is equipped with a bouncy 14K gold medium Pilot nib that offers an incredible writing feel. 

This pen is in (N) New Old Stock Condition. The pen appears to have never been inked and the ink bottle looks to have never been opened. The warranty card is unmarked, indicating that it has never been sold through a Pilot boutique.
