Introduced in 1971, the Myu was Pilot's response to Parker's innovative T1 fountain pen. Equipped with a streamiled stainless steel nib integrated right into the grip section, the Pilot Myu earned the title "The Concorde of Pens" due to its striking resemblances to the sleek supersonic airliner. The Myu 701 family was offered as a fountain pen (M-350SS), ballpoint pen (BPG-200SK), mechanical pencil (HMF-200SK) and a felt-tipped Signature pen (SW-100SC). This Myu is the rare "Black Stripe" variant. It features lines engraved along the body that are filled with black lacquer.

Pocket pens are designed with portability in mind. While capped, a pocket pen will measure less than 125mm from end-to-end. However, when posted, it becomes a full sized fountain pen. Pocket pens were popular in the 60's & 70's but recently have been making a comeback. Being easy to slip in a pocket or purse make pocket pens ideal for travel and those who are always on the go.
