Vintage Pilot T-1800GS Fountain Pen & Mechancial Pencil Set. In the mid 70's, Pilot started to experiment with slimmer pens. Marketed as the "Slim-Type," the T-1800GS is very similar in design to the Deluxe line. The pen is equipped with an 18K Gold Fine nib, which is the same style as the closely related Pilot Deluxe. The pencil takes 0.5mm lead refills. Both pens feature a 14K rolled gold finish over a brass base metal. Both writing instruments are in (B) Very Good Condition. The pen comes with the original squeeze converter, but feels stiff. Utilizing a Pilot Namiki ink cartridge is recommended.
