Founded in 1911, Sailor has over 110 years of experience in producing some of the highest quality writing instruments in the world. Today, they are known for their unique 21K gold fountain pen nibs that have a characteristic feedback only known to Sailor. However, they also make fantastic 14K gold nibs with a similar iconic feedback. In 1981 Sailor introduced the iconic cigar-shaped 1911 Profit, their most popular model even today. About 20-years later, Sailor introduced the Pro-Gear, which featured flattened ends and the iconic Sailor Anchor adorned on the finial.
