Ban-Ei Japanese Eyedropper Fountain Pen handmade by Japanese lathe-master Eisuke Sakai and Tsuchida Shuichi, who was in charge of final assembly. This pen features a Warranted 14K Gold Fine nib made by the legendary Japanese nib master Ginjiro Kabutogi, and is stamped with "5-0" along with one of his JIS (Japanese Industrial Standard) registration numbers, 4622. Kabutogi is known as one of the greatest post war nib-masters and his nibs offer an amazingly unique writing experience. This Pen is in (C), good condition. There is noticeable marks in the urushi finish on the shut-off knob.
This pen has had the worn out, original cork shutoff valve seal replaced with o-rings. Providing a great alternative to prevent leaks near the back of the pen. 90 day warranty on service work.
