Pocket pens are designed with portability in mind. While capped, a pocket pen will measure less than 125mm from end-to-end. However, when posted, it becomes a full sized fountain pen. Pocket pens were popular in the 60's & 70's but recently have been making a comeback. Being easy to slip in a pocket or purse make pocket pens ideal for travel and those who are always on the go.

This is a Kumiai branded pen. Kumiai was a smaller Japanese fountain pen manufacturer. While small, it made some of the finest pocket pens with wonderful nibs and strong sense of design. The pens were produced by the same manufacturer that produced Parley and Yotsubisi pens. Kumiai is much less common than other pocket pen manufacturers. A fine addition to any collection. This pen has a Platinum style cartridge interface, and will use those to fill.

The pen has a silver foil like finish (it's not actual silver). Finish is very done and high-end. Clip shows Kumiai's usual attention to detail with tiny carvings on the clip. Pen is in (B) Very Good condition.
