German for "Masterpiece," the Meisterstück No. 144 Classique and it's white "snow-cap" logo is a worldwide symbol of luxury and quality. Slightly smaller than its big brother, the 146, the Meisterstück No. 144 Classique features a thin cigar-shaped body and #4 sized nib. The perfect size for those with smaller hands, or those that want a slimmer pen, the Montblanc No. 144 Classique truly is a "Masterpiece" of German design.

The Montblanc 144 Classique can be dated by looking at a couple of key characteristics. The nib, the grip section, and feed. This particular pen is a Third Generation model produced in 1990.

There are several cracks in the cap and barrel, though these do not appear to affect the functionality of the pen. There is also an engraving on the underside of the grip section from the previous owner.
