The Pilot Custom K series of pens, released in 1971, initially consisted of three pens, each created. The Custom series grew to be one of the most popular Pilot fountain pens and has been produced in a variety of styles and finishes. This particular pen was thought to be a prototype. The pen was a production pen and not a prototype. However, it is much less common than other Pilot Customs. The photoengraved designed in patterned after kimono fabric. The December 1974 production date is one of the earliest observed for this style. 

Pre-owned Pilot Custom Fountain Pen. This pen is equipped with a 18K Gold, Fine nib. This pen is in Very Good condition. There are minor scratches and scuffs on the cap and barrel.
