Vintage Platinum sheepskin wrapped fountain pen. This pen is part of the Yuzen-Zome line released in 1974. The Yuzen-Zome, meaning "with fast colors" series depicts vivid colors and designs printed onto the sheepskin leather. This particular model shows Hikaku Turu which means Flying Crane. The pen is equipped with an 18K gold nib. Platinum nib sizes can be determined from the Kanji symbols stamped on the nib. The symbols on this pen translate to "Fine" indicating a fine-sized tipping material.
