Vintage "Reuter" branded fountain pen made by legendary Japanese nib meister Ginjiro Kabutogi. Reuter, also under the name of Inaba-Shokat OEM, was one of the many brands started and owned by G.K. This pen utilizes an aerometric style squeeze filler, which is quite rare for a Japanese pen from this era, especially one made by a smaller factory like G.K.'s. This pen is equipped with a Warranted #40 sized fine writing nib made by G.K.. The 40 nib is the smallest of the "premium" nibs produced by the legendary craftsman.
The squeeze filling mechanism has been serviced to ensure proper filling and functionality. A new ink sac has been shellacked in place and the pen fully tested for proper ink capacity. This service is covered by our free 90-day warranty against any workmanship defects.
