The Rolex Oyster Perpetual is one of the longest running models still in production by the brand. It shares many design similarities with the Datejust and Day-Date models. The biggest difference is the absence of any date or day indicators. This allows the Oyster Perpetual to have a clean, simple, and striking appearance. 

The Oyster Perpetual gets its name from Rolex's two most important innovations. The Oyster case design, which grants the watch its waterproofness, and the Perpetual automatic movement. Pairing this with its 34mm case size, the OP is wearable by everyone.

This particular watch is the 1501 reference with a Sigma dial. The sigma dial, indicated by the small "Sigma" Greek symbols at the bottom of the dial, indicate the 18K white gold construction of the hands and indices. This watch has also been fitted with a brand-new replacement acrylic crystal and gaskets.
