Wonderful Sailor Fountain Pen that appears to be New Old Stock. The pen is similar to Pilot's Custom series, which was launched in the early 1970s. This Sailor comes from 1974 and mimics the popular black stripe finish of the Pilot. The Sailor is considerably less common than its Pilot counterpart. The pen features an 18K white gold nib. The "2" on the nib denotes a Fine nib. The edges on the engraved stripes are nearly sharp showing that the pen has been handled very little in the last 50 years.
