Founded in 1961 by former Pilot Helmut Sinn, the Sinn watch company started out producing airplane cockpit clocks and chronographs. Sinn timepieces are known for their robustness and are often designed with Military or Police applications in mind. Sinn uses a specialized heat treatment method on their steel watch cases, offering it's unique look and enhanced scratch-resistance. 

 This particular watch is a part of the Einsatzzeitmesser line. German for "Mission Timer" Einsatzzeitmesser, or EZM for short. EZM watches are the toughest watches Sinn makes. This watch is the EZM 3. It features 50 Bar of water resistance and 1 kilo-gauss of magnetic resistance, making it the ultimate tool watch.
